While it has been a freezing winter here in Australia (and by freezing I mean we got down to 1 degree Celsius one morning, unheard of!) I can always go for a smoothie bowl. I’m one of those people that can eat ice cream no matter the temperature. Frozen fingers be damned!
When I posted this picture on Instagram I got a number of messages requesting the recipe, so I thought I would oblige today!
It is delicious, easy and versatile. I normally go much wilder with my toppings – the world (or smoothie bowl) is your oyster! Enjoy!
Banana Berry Smoothie Bowl (Low FODMAP, Dairy Free)
Prep Time 10 minutes
Servings 1 person
Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup frozen mixed berries
- 3/4 cup almond milk
- 1/3 cup gluten free rolled oats
- dash vanilla essence
- 1 tbsp natural peanut butter
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
Instructions

Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and process until smooth.

Pour the smoothie into a bowl and add desired toppings.
