Tzatziki Sauce

Whenever I used to make meat and vegetable dinners before I started my low FODMAP journey, I would reach for store-bought condiments and sauces without a second thought. Then, as you would expect, things changed when I began reading ingredient lists and more and more condiments ended up in the bin. This is a quick and delicious little recipe for low FODMAP tzatziki sauce, which is perfect with lamb, or a variety of other meats. It brings some zing and flavour to a standard weekday meal, or could be used as a delicious salad dressing.

Tzatziki Sauce

Prep Time 10 minutes
Total Time 10 minutes
Servings 4 people


  • 1/4 cup lactose free greek yoghurt
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup grated cucumber
  • 2 tbsp chives
  • pepper and salt to taste


  1. In a small bowl, combine all ingredients until well incorporated. Adjust seasoning to taste.
